Clinton Cambridge Salsa Class Instructor
Clinton will be teaching Salsa Classes at the Back To Love Weekender.
After being a successful DJ since 1977, I have held residencies at clubs in slough Croydon Ealing, Camberly high Wycombe the country club Middlesex and Herts the limelight London.
To name a few, I’ve always had a leaning towards music on the Latin side and the Epiphany came when hearing “el swing” by Andy Montanez.
It was a chance conversation, & the guy I was speaking to suggested that I attended a club in Windsor on Sunday nights that played this kind of music.
They also provided dance lessons & after I had the first one, I was hooked.
I always noticed the studio where I went to the gym was never used so I suggested they did salsa classes after explaining what salsa was they asked if I knew any teachers I cheekily said to me! The classes became really busy .but there was no club .so I used to organise trips to a club in Beaconsfield where they offered me teaching the beginners class .i also-ran clubs “mambo mission” in Egham and club “rrrrrrico” in. Chalfont as well as teaching at Brunel University and fleet all this was started 20 years ago. I also instruct at the luxury soul weekend in Blackpool and in bolsoul Croatia also uka qualified.
